Our Director of Community Engagement + Organizing’s hometown is well known for MANY things (Joe’s got a list, trust us!) - one of which is the historic “L” that runs through the city.
While the public transportation system in Chicago is currently operated by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), the famous elevated tracks weren’t built by them.
